Moroccanoil is due to launch in Australia in the next few weeks. June 2010 will see a bright, beautiful and environmentally friendly hair product range hit Australian salons full force.

Ive been lucky enough to try these products first hand. I welcome this brand with open arms. So far the results have been amazing. more on that in a little bit

The Moroccanoil brand is a combination of quality product, beautiful packaging and a social conscience, all the perfect ingredients for a hair care product to fall in love with and eventually rely on.

Im very fussy when it comes to hair. So I passed out a couple of the products to the girls in the office sporting curls and/or frizz and the results came in a few days later.

The Maroccanoil Glimmer Shine Spray ($34.50 100ml) tamed Tessa’s beautiful maine of hair stopping frizz and adding a gorgeous shine. I noticed after a couple of days that her colour seemed more defined and her hair was even shinier as the days passed. Needless to say the bottle of spray now lives in Tessa’s bathroom.

Handy Hint ♥ to prevent static and frizz, mist hairbrushes with Maroccanoil Glimmer Shine Spray before brushing. Picture 26

I tried the Maroccanoil Restorative Hair Mask ($49.50 250ml) it is amazing. My dry hair was cured over night and no oily residue. Im sensitive to fragrance so I was happy to note the hair mask was not packed with awful fragrance just a touch of a delicate smell and it was a nice natural nutty fragrance. My hair felt very soft and healthy.

The best part is these symbols pictured below are present on all the packaging…..♥

Beauty and makeup these days is a true art form. The eyes are like blank canvases and the displays in shops are like candy stores. Its simply irresistible. You just want to buy everything.

Colour seems to be making a come back – and the 80’s has been coming through for a while now but it looks like we are about to hit the high notes of the mid 80’s in every sense.

♣ If only they could do a remake of the Breakfast Club and St Elmo’s fire with all the orginal cast. Note – check out some old episodes of Dynasty and Knots landing and you will see some very current looking makeup…

VOLUSPA Candles are one of my favourite candles these days.

Not only do they smell divine, burn for hours and look incredible they also blend nicely into the current theme living in my apartment. They are a bit of an accessory with stunning packing and a great colour palette to choose from. The Basic Black collection has a wide variety of fragrances and different products.

♣ my top pick is the 3 wick candle presented in a stunning ceramic bowl with a lid. After the fragrance has adorned the room the lid goes on and it looks like a beautiful bowl on display.

♣ Favourite fragrances are – Lemon Sake (great for summer nights) and Yashioka Gardenia (for all year round). But they are all stunning in their own right… its one of those personal choice things. Another perk is a handful of the scents are masculine so great for entertaining and keeping ones man happy… check out the gift box with a little bit of everything.. kind of like a box of chocolates.. only it will last a lot longer..♥
