After discovering this amazing and talented desinger and illustrator, I was thrilled to find our she is Australian.

One of the most inspirational parts of her work is that the artistic nature has been transfered to the wider media and produced in a way that can be enjoyed by the masses without demeaning the true individual design quality.

Deanne Cheuk is a New York-based art director, illustrator and artist from Perth, Western Australia

Cheuk’s art direction has been heavily influenced by her illustrative work and she is renowned for her illustrative typography.

She has been commissioned by top international companies, including American Express, Dell, Lane Crawford, Levi’s, Nike, Converse, Sprint, Swatch, Target, MTV,The Gap, Urban Outfitters, The Guardian, T Magazine and The New York Times Magazine. She has worked with David Carson, Doug Aitken and Conan O’Brien.

In 2005, Cheuk released her first book, Mushroom Girls Virus — which sold out worldwide immediately. In 2006, Target launched a line of “Deanne Cheuk” products.

Deanne Cheuk’s work covers a vast cross section of different mediums.

Edmond – A moment in Paris….

This stunning new French online store offers an amazing selection of vintage inspired chairs, furniture and accessories for the home and children (school desk, Eames chairs, retro lamps, retro toys…). All are limited edition and reflect the earthy european feel that I love so much. ♥  The site itself is a visual delight. The photography is amazing and from what I can see the art direction is too.

As the site is currently only in french it was a little difficult to understand the background of the brand.

But as pictures often mean a thousand words, I would say that in this case the pictures tell an accurate story. Simply stunning, artistic and structured design with a contemporary feel mixed with a slightly vintage air.. love it.

♣ Its feels like you have visited Paris in your lunch break

For those who may want to know more we have attached the link to their website.

Its a visual treat. ♥
