When I was about 10 I would sit on the weekend and make multicolored pompoms, my whole world at one point was finding out how big could a pompom get? I remember even my brother joined in as he wanted to see just how big a pompom could get.. But those days are fair gone and now its just nice to see that pompoms are showing up on runways and in magazines, on tables and as fashion accessories around the world.
I think they are on their way back……. ♥
One great idea is pompom international ♥ a site dedicated to making pompoms for world peace. The aim to make the longest train of pompoms in the world.

What is so fascinating about this day and age is the variety of incredible handmade ‘things’ that exist. While there is a huge serge in handmade items and ‘products with a soul’ as I like to put it out and about I turn to etsy to show me that even jewelry can be made using paper. Papermode was started by two friends while in school in Rhode-Island, and currently operates from Paris, France. ‘We love making anything paper-related, and sometimes not so paper-related,and we are also available for stationery and design services’.
