The Style Tree ♥

is so many things….. where to begin…

When I undertook the project of creating and planning this site I sat down and thought very carefully about how and where to begin. Like most things it was a long and detailed process. Before we went live the site had several facelifts and changed direction numerous times before settling into what it is today.

It started with the name and I couldn’t get the simple yet intricate picture out of my head. I imagined a tree, a tree made of all the things I love and see on a daily basis. The beauty and creative things that make up our lives and for me make up my career. Over the last year we have seen the blog become a serious source of information transfer and groundswell become the new face of gathering and passing on information, news, ideas, visual delights and much more. Many a late night is spent on sourcing new ideas, places to go, things to see and experiences to be had.

Ive enjoyed many Australian based sites and blogs and a handful of addictive overseas sites and still have an undying passion for magazines (in paper form -that will never change) that have brought the world to my doorstep here in Sydney. In my cyber travel I have not yet had the experience of finding most things in one place. Some of my favourite sites and blogs deal with very specific issues such as design, international forums, beauty, gossip, shopping and more. I have found that I need to travel to many places to see a wide selection.

So here it is, a site that incorporates a whole lot of different things and you can choose where you to want to visit.

With 10 years in the homewares, fashion accessories and design business, currently creating for two of my own ranges and recently a venture out into contracting for other companies my eyes have been opened to how many amazing things are happening at my doorstep and hopefully this site
